Most AI tools wait to be asked. Fylgja is built on the opposite premise: that the useful unit of delegation is not a conversation, but an employee.

At the center sits an AI chief of staff — a coordinating agent that holds context on you and your organizations, and routes work to specialized agents for research, executive assistance, finance, and more. Each of those agents carries persistent memory and its own tool access, so delegation compounds instead of resetting every session.

What it does

  1. Runs on its own schedule. Work executes in the cloud on a schedule, with timezone awareness, whether or not you’re at your desk.
  2. Delegates across specialists. The chief of staff decomposes a request and hands pieces to the agents equipped for them.
  3. Stays inside the guardrails you set. Every agent runs at an explicit permission level — advisory, supervised, or autonomous — with approval workflows and a full audit trail.
  4. Connects to real tools. Email, calendar, web search, task management, Slack, and anything else reachable over MCP.
  5. Separates your worlds. One chief of staff can coordinate across multiple organizations while keeping hard data boundaries between them.

Why we built it

Autonomy is only valuable if it’s trustworthy. The hard part of a virtual employee isn’t getting it to act — it’s giving the person accountable for the work a way to see what happened and to bound what can happen next. That’s the problem Fylgja is actually solving.
