Almost nobody fails to send a card because they don’t care. They fail because of four small jobs stacked between caring and sending: remembering the date, choosing the card, finding the address, and locating a stamp. Any one of them is trivial. Together, they’re why the drawer is full of cards nobody mailed.
The Pen & Post removes all four and leaves the one worth keeping.
How it works
- Give us the dates once. Birthdays and anniversaries recur automatically, year after year.
- A card arrives two weeks early. Already addressed, already stamped, and deliberately blank inside.
- We nudge you on the day. An email on the day it needs to go in the post.
- You write it and mail it. That’s the whole job.
Plans run 6, 12, or 24 cards a year.
Why we built it
Making your own cards is cheaper. It’s also the thing most people never actually do. We’d rather sell the version that gets sent than the version that sounds more virtuous — the point of the business is a card that arrives, in handwriting the recipient recognizes.
